The idea behind Integral
It started with a question
A construction site, somewhere in the late 90s. An applicator mixes two components of injection resin. Wrong dosing. Too little reaction time. Complaint.
From this everyday frustration came a simple question: What if we didn't bring the chemistry to the site — but built it into the product?
Just over twenty years ago, ARCAN introduced the first Integral resin. 2nd component and accelerator — both built directly into the resin. No mixing ratios, no dosing pumps, no gel-time worries. Open the can, inject.
Today Integral is a whole series: four resins for four tasks. The principle stays the same.

Elastic · adaptively swelling
Elastic injection resin with an adaptive swelling capacity up to 120%. Reacts with water, stays permanently sealed — even under movement and returning water flow.

Elastic · non-swelling
Elastic but without swelling. For structural crack injection where dimensionally stable volume fill matters more than adaptive re-reaction.

Hydro-active · self-injecting
Hydro-active and self-injecting: it finds its own way to the leak. Ideal for hard-to-reach defects and deep pressure injection (DPI).

510· Pre-accelerated water stop
When water is actively flowing — and fast.
Actively pressing water from cracks, joints or penetrations. You need an immediate reaction, not a 30-minute mixing procedure.
510 Integral is pre-accelerated: once injected, the resin reacts immediately with the on-site water — the water stop is set, without waiting, without re-dosing.
Typical applicationEmergency stop against groundwater, water ingress, emergency injection.
Special featureReaction speed independent of temperature — works in the cold.
HydroBloc® 575 in use

575· Elastic, adaptively swelling
When the substrate moves.
Structures work. Cracks close and open with temperature, settlement and load changes. A rigid resin will eventually tear open — water comes back.
575 Integral stays elastic and, with its adaptive swelling capacity up to 120%, absorbs exactly the volume change happening in the component. Re-injection? Not needed.
Typical applicationJoints, working joints, connection details with expected movement.
Special featureReacts only on water contact — stays stable when dry.
HydroBloc® 600 in use

600· Elastic, non-swelling
When dimensional stability matters.
There are situations where swelling is not desired — for example in structural crack injection, where the resin must fill the crack volume exactly and not react further.
600 Integral stays elastic but does not swell. You get structural injection with lasting elasticity — with no volume change in the component.
Typical applicationStructural crack injection, force-fitted bonds in concrete.
Special featureCombinable with 575 where swelling and non-swelling zones sit side by side.
HydroBloc® 620 in use

620· Hydro-active, self-injecting
When you can't reach everywhere.
Defects deep in the component, branched crack patterns, inaccessible zones — classical injection isn't enough here. You need a resin that moves to the leak by itself.
620 Integral is hydro-active and self-injecting: it follows the water path in the component and reaches deep pressure injection (DPI) zones where classical methods give up.
Typical applicationDeep injection, branched defects, retrofit sealing from the inside.
Special featureNo drill packers needed in every crack — follows the water network by itself.
